Writing to escape the pandemic has also meant a blog, cooking, hiking and lots of days spent thinking about my past. Today I submitted a piece about bread to an online magazine. As our way to celebrate the Inauguration (for some celebration for others a dismal day) we popped the champagne we’d bought for New Year’s and I roasted a turkey with citrus stuffing. This one is definitely a keeper recipe… and maybe be the perfect “summer” turkey if things keep going in the direction they are with the pandemic.
