Homemade applesauce is one of the easiest recipes, and a great way to use up apples when your day of picking turned into way more apples than you can eat!
We returned to a favorite hike of ours at Walden Pond in Concord MA today. We arrived early and were greeted with the most beautiful autumn foliage, fog lifting off the water, and a peaceful hike around the pond!
An easy and delicious way to make roast beef. Brown it, pop it in the slowcooker and you’ve got a good 6 hours or so to do your thing! Whether it’s a sunday, a weekday or any day in between. And of course how could I not include memories from my own Sunday dinners with family back in the 60s
As we enjoy the avgolemono soup I made last week I think of friendship, and what friendship means to me. What does it mean to you?
What is better than a September walk on the beach on a cold day, margaritas under the trees, and a warm bean soup and cornbread to come home to? If you agree, then check out this post! You’ll want to make it today!!!
Today I roasted a Picnic Pork Shoulder and created my own Char Siu sauce, including making my own Hoisin Sauce and Five Spice Powder and it brought back memories of trips to Chinatown when I was young.
We revisited a park we went to back in 2010. Believe it or not, almost the exact same day 10 years later! And when we came home I made this curried squash and apple soup. Why not try it? And head to the island now that the plovers are done doing their thing~
This post includes my memories of hot air ballooning with my mom and the adventure starts while I was booking the trip! And a delicious pie based on a recipe for Atlantic Beach pie, but taking advantage of the happy combination of lemon, mango, and pineapple, with a dash of coconut thrown in! And yes, it’s a saltine crust, be brave!
We recently revisited Blackstone River and Canal Heritage State Park in Uxbridge, MA. After 10 years, it is still beautiful and a great place for family, friends and dogs to wander, enjoy the water, get some fresh air, and explore! I hope you agree.
