We revisited a park we went to back in 2010. Believe it or not, almost the exact same day 10 years later! And when we came home I made this curried squash and apple soup. Why not try it? And head to the island now that the plovers are done doing their thing~
Walking along the Battle Road Trail in Concord, and a filling and healthy lentil stew to make for a sunny autumn day
We recently revisited Blackstone River and Canal Heritage State Park in Uxbridge, MA. After 10 years, it is still beautiful and a great place for family, friends and dogs to wander, enjoy the water, get some fresh air, and explore! I hope you agree.
We revisited Moore State Park this weekend and although there was a lot of construction going on, and flowers were pretty much done, this park is always a beautiful, peaceful place to wander and connect with nature.
Remembering a hike to Purgatory Chasm back in 2010. We loved the area but wore the wrong shoes! Plus a recipe for yummy healthy breakfast bars made with bananas, applesauce, peanut butter and lots of healthy nuts and seeds! Oh, and oatmeal, too!
I love cabbage and I love pickles. What better combination that pickled cabbage? And a reminiscence of our trip to Great Brook Park, when we went back this morning for a COVID-19 version of the same trip!
Looking for a simple side dish that’s healthy and easy to customize to your family’s taste? Try this recipe for roasted cauliflower. And my recommendation for a dog-friendly, family friendly hike in Westford, MA
An old post with updated photos of our hike around Lexington and Concord on Patriot’s Day 10 years ago, but also just recently.
Back in 2009 and 2010 I had a blog called 52B452. It was my review of over 32 state and national parks we visited back then. Life was different, it was winter, and I was ranking parks based on dog-friendliness, kid safety, and wheelchair accessibility. But looking back, we enjoyed, and today we returned to one. This is my old post with new photos and updated links!
