Remembering a hike to Purgatory Chasm back in 2010. We loved the area but wore the wrong shoes! Plus a recipe for yummy healthy breakfast bars made with bananas, applesauce, peanut butter and lots of healthy nuts and seeds! Oh, and oatmeal, too!
I love lavender, and I love lemon. The two combined flavors in these cookies make them irresistable. And they reminded me of a trip to Gore Place and a treasured book I bought that’s now a collectible item.
Remembering fishing trips with friends and family and a great and very simple baked haddock recipe
I love cabbage and I love pickles. What better combination that pickled cabbage? And a reminiscence of our trip to Great Brook Park, when we went back this morning for a COVID-19 version of the same trip!
Looking for a simple side dish that’s healthy and easy to customize to your family’s taste? Try this recipe for roasted cauliflower. And my recommendation for a dog-friendly, family friendly hike in Westford, MA
An old post with updated photos of our hike around Lexington and Concord on Patriot’s Day 10 years ago, but also just recently.
Back in 2009 and 2010 I had a blog called 52B452. It was my review of over 32 state and national parks we visited back then. Life was different, it was winter, and I was ranking parks based on dog-friendliness, kid safety, and wheelchair accessibility. But looking back, we enjoyed, and today we returned to one. This is my old post with new photos and updated links!
I love the Keys, and I love to cook when I’m inspired. This is my version of a Tropical Pork Dinner in the slowcooker inspired by a trip I took with my mother to the Florida Keys.
Do you believe in ghosts? Does a quick cuppa soothe your nerves? Read my ghost experiences and make your own tea!
Why start a blog? Well, if you’d done it before and enjoyed it, and were looking for something to do that was fun, maybe it’d make sense. I know it did for me.
