I love scones, and always made mine from a recipe I got from a friend years ago. But yesterday I decided to try something new, and maybe just a bit simpler. Cream Scones with Holiday Fruit!

An Inauguration Like None other – A Turkey Like None Other
As our way to celebrate the Inauguration (for some celebration for others a dismal day) we popped the champagne we’d bought for New Year’s and I roasted a turkey with citrus stuffing. This one is definitely a keeper recipe… and maybe be the perfect “summer” turkey if things keep going in the direction they are with the pandemic.

The Best Laid Plans – Our Non-Trip to Castle Hill and a Seared Steak with Mushroom Basil Cream Sauce
