Making your own candied ginger is simple. And adding a citrus peel to the mix, like I did with lemon can add zing and heat to any dish.
This is a heavy dish but so flavorful. When it’s time for a meal that includes lamb, and not a lot of fuss, this is the one for you! Cooked in my new tagine, but a heavy bottomed casserole would also work.
