Yes, my blog now has a presence on my podcast, It’s All Creative
I know it’s been forever since I published anything in this blog. And in fact, I’m starting a new site, to go along with my latest project a podcast I started back in April, and launched in June. It’s All Creative. But MadTastes is here to stay, so not to worry. Just hoping to work recipes back into my schedule since I’ve been storing up a lot of them!

A new type of post – Cooking videos
This week I started posting a new type of episode, Cooking Videos, as part of my Creative in the Kitchen series on my podcast. Today’s episode was actually “sponsored” by a company owned by someone I took my podcasting classes with, Kitchen Pixie, run by Stacey Lauren of Do The Thing. She sent me some cookware to test out and video live on my podcast. So I agreed, and within a few weeks created the video below, demonstrating my recipe for Italian-inspired Shakshuka.
Easy Recipe for Italian-inspired Shakshuka
My garden is pumping out peppers and tomatoes, and my basil plant has gone crazy, so they are featured. I hope you can see from this video, that I’m just starting out in this format, but I hope to feature a new recipe every other week…. and I hope to also include them here at madtastes! Let me know what you think. I’d love it if you also subscribe to my podcast. It’s available on Spotify, Amazon Music, Audible, Castbox, Google Podcasts, and I Heart Radio. The link to the full podcast can be found at It’s All Creative.

What is It’s All Creative about?
I’m trying to capture 100 unique listeners, and I know I have a number of followers here, so I’m hopeful. Episodes aren’t all cooking-related… Monday launches are short 2 – 10 minute sessions of me rambling about issues and topics related to creativity, making time in your day for it, or showcasing some of my other creative habits like writing, singing, etc. Thursday episodes feature me interviewing someone who is either a creative through-and-through or someone who is active with creativity. So far I’ve interviewed knitters, painters, hobbyists, travelers, writers, game inventors, fashion designers, videographers, community activists, bloggers, podcasters, life coaches, RV-for-lifers, career coaches, and so many more. Why not give it a listen, or a watch? Many of my episodes include video… but most are great to just listen to, when you’re driving in the car, out for your daily walk, sitting with a glass of wine at the end of the evening, or pretty much any time! Give a listen, subscribe, or both! And let me know in the comment box above what you think of today’s video, what you think of the podcast, what other types of creatives you’d want to hear from, and maybe if YOU are interested in coming on the show!
